Stock transfer in tally means, you want to transfer stock from one store to another. You may require Stock transfer in tally, only if you have multiple stores. So this article is not covering the related articles, how to create multi-store. By default you can transfer stock items from one store to another using stock voucher.
From the Gateway of Tally -> Select Inventory voucher -> click Stk Jrnl button or Alt+F7.
This is stock Journal Voucher type for transferring stock item from location to another. This voucher type is divided up into 2 parts. The first part (left side) is source and the right side is the Destination. The same voucher type can be used for consumption also. This is very simple and default way of transferring stock items.
But if you want volume transfer from one location to another in a more advanced way, then tally allows that also.
This required Transfer Class Creation.

From the Gateway of tally -> Inventory info -> Voucher Types -> Alter then select “Stock Journal” voucher type.
in the “Name of Class” section, type Transfer (you can name anything).
you will get a popup screen asking do you want to use class for inter-location transfer? set to “Yes” as shown in the picture below.

Now for interlocation stock transfer in tally, follow the same procedure as above.
From the Gateway of Tally -> Select Inventory voucher -> click Stk Jrnl button or Alt+F7. Now you get a screen as follows.

Now you can transfer multiple stock items in one stretch.
